Counting my daily blessings, forgetting not His benefits, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
Day 113. 22 Apr 18. Sunday. My son participated in Trifactor Bike -Run-bike race and was 5th in the open men’s category. I’m grateful that he returned home safely without any incident.
Day 114. 23 Apr 18. Monday. Hiking with my new Sony Action Cam.
After the hike, we went for lunch at a Chinese stall for a feast. It came to $14 per person.
Day 115. 24 Apr 2018. Tuesday. For the first time, my son and I baked cheese tarts.
They are as delicious as they look. The crust is crisp and crunchy, the filling is cheesy and not too sweet. Not too shabby for a first attempt.
Day 116. 25 Apr 2018. Wednesday. I brought my son to attend his first Annual General Meeting of a publicly listed company, regional bank DBS. At was held at Marina Bay Sands. I’m glad the car parking was complimentary otherwise charges there are rather hefty.
Day 117. 26 Apr 2018. Thursday. I volunteer at my community and today we received quotations. I spent a good part of the day reading through the documents and making a comparison of the quotes.
Day 118. 27 Apr 2018. Friday I baked cheese tarts for my son who is returning from the army after being confined for the initial 3 weeks. So this is what love looks like:
Friday evening, I attended Alpha Holy Spirit weekend at Raffles Marina. Such a beautiful place for a stay-cation. So blessed that it was sponsored too!
Day 119. 28 Apr 2018. Saturday Treated to wonderful meals at Raffles Marina as part of Alpha weekend.
